Damaged part no. 1
The headlight is the first part that will be damaged or completely destroyed in case of a collision. Even a small one is enough to scratch the headlight. Additionally, the mounting points of this part are commonly very easy to break. This is not necessarily malicious intent on part of the manufacturer in order to increase sales. On the contrary, these predetermined breaking points are a way of preventing damage to the more hard to reach parts. A main headlight is normally fastened with three screws and easy to change. However these parts made by the original manufacturer are very expensive nowadays. The JOHNS spare parts manufacturer has taken up the task to offer low cost alternatives for damaged original parts because of this.
Full performance at a low price
A damaged headlight decreases the security of the car significantly. It is also unclear whether you pass the next TÜV certification and the resale value also decreases. A defect headlight can also lead to a fine by the police if it is noticed. A JOHNS main headlight is a price conscious possibility to fix this defect quickly.
Since car designers have taken up the trend to design headlights with big plexiglass covers, one special phenomenon is becoming more and more common: the headlights become dull because of scratches and the light volume decrease further and further until it reaches only a couple percent of its original performance. Many try to countermeasure this by polishing the scratched surface with tooth paste or similar materials. It is more easy and a fast and permanent solution if the headlights are simply changed to the low cost JOHNS main headlights.
JOHNS main headlights are already available starting from 30 Euros. Of course these spare parts fulfill all demands of the manufacturer.
Optimize the light sources
When changing the main headlights, the other light sources can be optimized as well. The halogen lamps available today cannot completely live up to the expensive xenon headlights but they have much better performance than in the past. Because of that it is advisable to always mount the best possible light source when changing the headlights. If you are working on the car's lighting system already, upgrading with a daylight is another measure that can make sense and which increases the car's safety and resale value.
